I put up a poll asking if people would like a Vampire!Descole reader insert and rather a lot of people said they would love to read it, so I'm going to get working on it soon, I finally have part of a plot that seems to stick.
However, some of you are also wondering who I'm talking about, so I'll explain.
**WARNING. PROFESSOR LAYTON AND THE AZRAN LEGACY SPOILERS BELOW**
Okay, as stated above, Descole is a character from the recent trilogy of the Professor Layton games. He also appears in the movie. He is Layton's 'enemy' for the trilogy, but there are little things hidden through the games that describe the bigger enemy, Targent. Targent is Descole's enemy, but as discovered in the 6th game (though I worked it out at the end of PL5) Targent is controlled by Descole's father, who also happens to be Layton's father.
Basically, Layton is Descole's brother (not that he work that out until almost the end of the game) and they were separated when they were young because their parents got taken by the organisation Targent. Their father, Leon Bronev, runs Targent by the time of the relevant games, but was originally taken by the organisation and left the two young boys alone. Hershel is adopted by the Layton family while Descole's fate is unknown.
Also, something that may/may not come up in the fic, Desmond Sycamore IS Descole without the mask and cloak... that's a long story in itself...
