Vampire!NordicsxReader - Finland Ending

...Violet. You knew two people with eyes that colour, Emil and Tino.

The glowing eyes vanished and you started to panic again. You blindly reached for a bedside cabinet in the hope that it would have a lamp on it, which it did, so you flicked it on.

In the second it took you to blink from the brightness, the person that owned the violet eyes had moved, so was now sitting on the edge of bed with their back to you. You were about to grab the lamp and hit the person, but paused as you recognised them.

"Tino?" you questioned. He turned to face you, showing you his violet eyes, still visibly glowing with the lamp on. He just nodded his answer.

Now that you weren't panicking as much, you took the chance to look around the room. As you'd suspected, you were lying on a bed, the Finland flag blanket had been thrown to the bottom of the bed by your frantic movements. As if just noticing this himself, Tino went to grab it, only to hit his head against yours as you did the same thing.

"Sorry (y/n)" was his immediate response when you sat back rubbing your head.

"Just lie back and I'll sort everything out" he continued. He gently pushed you back until you were lying on the bed, then returned to the blanket so he could drape it over you again. You watched him carefully sit back in his seat before you spoke up.

"Tino, what happened downstairs?" Tino wouldn't meet your gaze after that, so you waited for a few moments before you forced him to look at you rather than the floor.

"What happened down there? Why all the darkness? Why is the house so cold? Please explain this!" you pleaded. Your answer was silence for a few minutes, then Tino decided to speak up.

"We're all vampires now. We were attacked three days ago, turned and left here, hence the darkness. The cold is Lukas's reaction to the change and his magic misbehaving. As for downstairs..." he tailed off, looking back at the floor.

"Go on" you encouraged, at which point he met your gaze.

"Downstairs Matthias tried to use you as a meal, so I had to pull you away from him. I'm just sorry that you got hurt by the fight" Tino finished his explanation. It was several minutes before you managed to form a decent reply.

"Tino, why did you say 'need to' protect me?" you asked. In the lamplight, you could see Tino blush.

"B-because if he'd bitten you, it would mean you were his...then you couldn't be mine" Tino answered quickly, though you almost missed the latter part because he said it so quietly.

However, it still made you blush. You'd been hiding your crush in the Finnish man for a while, not knowing if he would return it. A few of your friends knew about it, as did your 'competition' Berwald. He was always following Tino, often stopping you from talking to him.

"I knew I shouldn't have said anything" Tino's barely understandable mumble snapped you out of your thoughts and you turned to look at him. His head was dropped into his hands and he looked like he was shaking, so you moved to sit on the edge of the bed, directly in front of him. You gently took his hands away from his face and he looked at you.

"(y/n), what are yo-" you cut Tino off as you pressed your lips to his. You soon found yourself pushed back onto the mattress and Tino across the room.

"Please, don't do that. I don't want to hurt you" you rolled your eyes in response to that and got to your feet. You crossed the room and cornered Tino, then kissed him again.

Once again, in the time it took you to blink, he had placed you back onto the bed and broken the kiss. But this time you found yourself sitting on his lap and he placed his forehead against yours.

"(y/n), I love you, but before I do this, I need to know you feel the same" he whispered. Looking into his eyes, you could see that the glowing violet was tinged slightly red, so your answer was to pull back enough to expose your neck to him.

Tino grinned, showing you his fangs before he closed the small gap between you to sink those fangs into your neck.

You likened it to a numbing injection, you felt the pain at first, but it just went numb after that. You were aware of Tino lying you down on the bed after he stopped drinking, but your world was swallowed by darkness before you register anything else.

When you woke up, the room was pitch black once again. You attempted to turn the light on, but a pair of arms around you held you in place. The violet eyes that pierced the darkness were enough of a clue as to who was holding you, so you relaxed in Tino's arms once again, drifting back off knowing that you were safe.
